A quick note to say Happy New Year!
The Ham seems to have cooked well, and I’ve even managed to fit EVERYTHING in our little-medium sized fridge! (It’s not small, just 220ltrs.) Yay me! We’re having a New Years Lunch tomorrow. This is the menu!
Ham in Coca Cola (glaze will be plum & treacle – going for smokey sweetness!)
Potato salad
Coleslaw
Leafy Green salad with bits! (cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan, pine nuts & craisins)
I’ve just made little meringue nests, to have for dessert, with mounds of softly whipped cream and berries! (the berries were fresh on Christmas – courtesy of my Da, who I hope will remember to bring them tomorrow – but are now frozen. But will unfreeze on the journey from his place to ours!)
And of course, christmas cake & shortbread with tea & coffee afterwards 
I might even be persuaded to open a bottle of ice wine that I’ve had quietly for a few years now!
Things I need to do tomorrow:
+ glaze the ham
+ make the salads
+ set the table!
