This blog will be about moving into our first home. This includes finding it, reviewing it, putting in an offer, buying it, settling it, moving into it, buying stuff for it, and etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. . . It will also including things like what moving interstate to a completely different area to where we’ve lived previously is like, moving to a small country town, fitting in, meeting new people.
Once all of the above has happened, this blog will be about living in that country town, what I’m cooking or baking in the house at the time, and gardening. Gardening will be a challenge, as the climate is very different to where I am used to.

Since I wrote the above, so optimistically a few months ago, a few things have changed. We missed out on buying the house we really loved – sad, but true. And other opportunities have come up.
I would love to say that this blog is still going to be about moving to the country, but for the time being, it isn’t. It’s going to be about cooking, and living – and traveling! So, stay tuned!
